Honda has announced that its FR-V will have an insurance rating starting at group 9 and prices will range from £14,75 to £16,400 when sales begin in November.

There will be a choice of three engines including Honda’s 2.2 litre turbodiesel, a 1.7 VTEC and a 2.0 i-VTEC petrol engines, and SE and Sport trim levels. All versions feature climate control air-conditioning, front, side and curtain airbags, three ISOFIX childseat mountings (for front centre and outer rear seats), trip computer and CAT 1 alarm, with Vehicle Stability Assist on the 2.0 litre and alloy wheels, cruise control and front foglamps on the Sport.
