I am researching a family tree for a friend. They have a connection with the David Wickens family who started the Southern Counties Car Auction.

Furthermore I have just discovered your wonderful newsletter showing how Wickens started the business with his brothers John Jack and Jim- just what I needed!

To complete the family tree I would dearly love any information that you may have from the very early days, especially a piece of headed notepaper which may show the famous oak tree and acorn logo.

Further information with the connection to Thomas Robinson, who I believe is the Tom mentioned in your newsletter, would be a bonus.
