The programme, which takes in all makes, provides aftermarket companies with a complete service, from initial demonstration of the equipment through to training and continuing supply of components, equipment and consumables.
Within five years 95% of all UK road vehicles will have air conditioning and the market is estimated to be worth £30 million. This year, more than two million systems will require servicing or re-gassing by the independent aftermarket and body shops.
Gary Phillips, Euro Car Parts' air conditioning technical manager, says: "Every aspect of the programme has been developed along side industry experts in order to ensure a fully comprehensive and high-quality service.
"It is only over the last few years that motorists are becoming aware of the need to check their cars' air conditioning systems on an annual basis and service them every two years.
"In our experience once a workshop has the ability to service and repair air conditioning systems its customer base and demand will continue to grow."
