The car manufacturers used the British International Motor Show at Birmingham to do something about the industry's on-going recruitment crisis.
On Sunday, the show organisers held a recruitment day in which youngsters were given a route map and a “Careers Day Passport” to guide them to all the exhibitors participating in the initiative. On the stands, they would be given an experience ranging from careers advice to meet-the-apprentices sessions
