Daewoo has appointed a dealer in Crawley to cover its west Sussex territory.

Gatwick Daewoo, located adjacent to sister dealership Otters Ford, is the latest franchised retailer to be appointed since September, when the manufacturer began changing its distribution structure with dealers replacing some of its own outlets. It will be staffed by employees from Daewoo's former site in Crawley.

SK Kim, Daewoo Cars managing director, said: “Crawley and the whole Gatwick area is an important market for us. We have many satisfied owners in the area so it was important to us to ensure they are well catered for.

”We have ambitious plans to improve our geographical coverage and in turn our market share.”
