Dent Wizard, part of Manheim Europe, claims its new Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) for Profit service will help dealers to increase profits without making any investment on new products or training.

Scott Blind, Dent Wizard European managing director, said: “PDR for Profit will increase profits and customer satisfaction for dealers – and they do not have to do any work for it other than selling the service.”

Dent Wizard will repair dents in customers' cars and give the dealer a fixed proportion – possibly 25% – of the money. In return, the dealer will agree to use Dent Wizard to fix dents in its used cars.

“Trials show that PDR for Profit works best with prestige franchises like Mercedes-Benz and BMW, though we won't turn dealers away – we will try the business with everyone,” said Mr Blind.

He expects dealers to make up to £2,500 a month, depending on work volumes.
