A new Mitsubishi dealership, SMC Mitsubishi, opens this week in Hillingdon.

Located in Long Lane, SMC (Slough Motor Company) Mitsubishi will serve an area which covers; Ruislip, Ealing, Southall, Uxbridge and Hillingdon, in West London. The territory will also include Chalfont St. Giles, Gerrards Cross and Iver, just outside the M25.

Established nearly 20 years ago, the SMC Group has a variety of franchises in London and surrounding areas. The group's existing Mitsubishi dealership in Sittingbourne has been open for a little over a year.

As well as promoting new vehicles, SMC also offers servicing facilities, MoT testing, body repair workshops and aftersales support. The Hillingdon site is also to become a 'Red Zebra' location.

Mitsubishi Motors UK views this new appointment as an important addition to its 126 existing dealers - the highest tally of sites in the UK for ten years. Peter Griffiths, general manager for network development said: “We are pleased to welcome SMC into our network of dealers. This is the third site opened within the M25 area in the last 6 months and this appointment serves to strengthen Mitsubishi's presence in the Capital.”

The two other dealerships to open within the M25 in the last six months are Eddy Grimstead Mitsubishi in Romford and Bromley Mitsubishi in Beckenham.
