Manheim Auctions has appointed a new auction centre manager at its Birmingham site.

David Poxon joins the company from Direct Car Finance where he was previously group disposal manager.

"Manheim has a very strong reputation within the disposals market and a well established fleet business. I look forward to building on this and also increasing the number of dealer part exchanges. At a time when quality stock is paramount, we will be focussing on refurishment sales and aim to create an auction centre which offers a greater variety of higher level services than most," he said.
