Dixon Motors today announced that Sal Ciullo has been appointed to the plc board as executive director of the company with effect from February 1.

Mr Ciullo joined Dixon in 1992 as general manager and progressed to the position of managing director of the car division.

With effect from February 28, Andy Teale, an executive director, will be leaving the company to start a new business venture.

In addition David Morrow has been appointed to the operations board as managing director of the motorcycle division, incorporating Carnell and Motorcycle City brands. Mr Morrow has held senior positions in the Lex Group, Lookers and Ryland Plc.

His first responsibility is to complete the integration of the recently acquired Motorcycle City business.

Mr Ciullo and Mr Morrow will report to Simon Dixon, group MD.
