Demand for the 3200 GT coupe is responsible for Maserati UK's highest sales in the UK last year.

Maserati UK set a new record with 352 sales during 2000 – a 72% increase on 1999, which had been a previous best-ever year with 205 cars sold.

More than 460 of the high performance coupes have been sold in the UK since its introduction signalled the rebirth in 1999.

Philip Mills, Maserati UK general manager, said: “The arrival of the 3200 GT has shown motoring enthusiasts that the Maserati brand has regained the style, performance and charisma which won it worldwide acclaim at the peak of its motorsport successes during the 50's and 60's.
