Location: Thurleigh, Bedford, MK44 2YP

Salary: Up to £29,000 (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours – 8.00am-4.30pm

Our client is in vehicle remarketing industry, who selling’s 1.3m vehicles per annum, across 60 locations and with a turnover of £2billion and a looking for an experienced Panel Beater to work with their Bodyshop team, ensuring their vehicles are finished to the highest standard for their customers.

Our client are now recruiting for a Vehicle Inspector for their site in Thurleigh, Bedford.

Main purpose of the job:

Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced workshop team, ensuring their vehicles are finished to the highest standard for their customers, under the support and guidance of their supervisor and Workshop Manager.

Main responsibilities:

- Examine assigned vehicles to determine if safety or service work is required.
- Document all work recommended on assigned repair order
- Conduct Road test to determine work needed.
- Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on the vehicle
- Assist and help fellow technicians in the shop with vehicle diagnosis
- Other ad-hoc bookings

Skills and experience required: 

- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Inspector or Technician
- Full UK Driving Licence with ability to drive both manual and automatic cars
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
