The Role

We are seeking an Regional Accountant to join Marshall Motor Group, this role will be based at our SEAT Leicester or SKODA Northampton dealerships. This role will involve traveling to and from the sites on a regular basis. You will work as part of the dealership support team, and also as a part of our retail finance division, and will work to support the dealerships with day to day financial reporting and management. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis, this role reports to our Franchise Financial Controller.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role in the motor industry and happy to travel between all of the dealerships within the area.

What does a typical day involve?

• Overseeing the Production off  management accounts as required by the dealership leadership team
• Assist in forecasting activities for your assigned division
• Respond to queries from the dealership leadership team relating to financial and accounting matters
• Provide day to day leadership to a small team of accounts and administration professionals
• Liaise with divisional and group level accounting staff to ensure a consistent approach
