Northern Ireland-based Donnelly Group has welcomed Dave Sheeran as its new managing director.

Sheeran (pictured) joins the Donnelly Group from his previous managing director role at Opel Ireland. He brings with him 30 years of industry experience across sales, marketing and aftersales in the UK and Europe.

The Donnelly Group’s executive chairman Terence Donnelly said: “Dave Sheeran has a wealth of experience in the motor industry and is one of the most respected leaders in the local vehicle retailer sector and we’re delighted with his appointment.

“As the Donnelly Group celebrates 70 years serving the motoring public, I know that Dave Sheeran shares our values and will drive the Donnelly Group to continued future success.”

He will be responsible for leading the 700+ employees that make up the Donnelly Group, which includes Donnelly and Taggart, across its eight locations in Northern Ireland incorporating 18 manufacturers including Fiat, Honda, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.
