Mercedes-Benz UK has appointed Rob East as its head of fleet for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars.

East, who joined the business in 2009 and has worked with the smart and the Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy brands, assumes his post with immediate effect. 

David George, Mercedes-Benz UK sales director, said: “Fleet Sales has been crucial in the continued growth of the Mercedes-Benz brand in the UK.  Rob brings a wide range of experience to the role and I am confident he will continue this great success.”

In his previous role as national fleet sales manager, East led a team of strategic account managers and achieved record breaking fleet sales in 2015.
