Wessex Garages has appointed Danny O’Donovan as business development manager at its Renault dealership in Newport.  

In his new position, the O’Donovan will be responsible for fleet sales and will aim to build and develop the dealership’s relationships with businesses in the city.

 He said: “I joined Wessex Garages because I was very keen to work with a forward thinking and proactive business and I was attracted to its track record.

“I can’t wait to really get stuck into my role and meet current and potential customers in the area.

“Renault’s vehicle range is highly competitive in terms of price, total cost of ownership and CO2 emissions and I am excited to expand and strengthen Wessex Garages’ fleet business in Newport.”

Danny has more than 30 years of experience in the motor industry.

He previously held the roles of business centre manager at a Renault dealership in Cardiff and four years working for Vans Direct as sales and process manager.
