Stoke Audi have said a fond farewell to their experienced Transaction Manager, who has begun his retirement after 40 years in the trade.
George Masters had spent eight years at the flagship centre, which is owned and operated by the family run Swansway Group, before his retirement bash last week.
George, described as “a universally liked and respected team member”, had a party thrown for him by the Stoke Audi Accounts Team and his wife Lynn was there to help him celebrate.
Swansway Group directors Peter and John Smyth were there to wish George well. John said: “George is a true gentleman. He shows it’s possible to be great at your job, at the same time as showing respect and being respected by your colleagues and customers. He will be very much missed by everyone”.

I don't know George, but here we have another good guy leaving the trade. There are less and less quality people joining our industry to fill those shoes, in what is, essentially, a tough retail environment. Have a happy, well-deserved retirement.
