Citroen wants the C4 Cactus to appeal to consumers with active lifestyles and is launching a special edition with surf brand Rip Curl.
It doesn’t come with a free surfboard or weekend away in Newquay. However it gets PSA’s clever Grip Control advanced traction system which can help drivers traverse mud, sand and snow.
The C4 Cactus Rip Curl also features 17-in diamond cut alloy wheels with Goodyear 4-Seasons Mud+Snow tyres.
Citroen dealers begin sales of the model on June 1, and will offer customers a choice of two engines: the PureTech 110 S&S petrol at £18,480 and the Blue HDi 100 turbodiesel at £19,210.
Visible changes include Rip Curl graphics on the wings and rear quarter-lights, white roof rails and door mirrors, orange seatbelts, orange detailing on the audio speakers, and orange-trimmed carpet mats.
It also features a panoramic glass roof, sat-nav and reversing camera as standard, and will be available with a choice of five body colours.
