SsangYong has added the option of four wheel drive to its range of Tivoli SUVs, with prices for the newcomer starting at £17,100.

The all wheel drive Tivoli comes with the Euro 6 compliant 113bhp, 1.6 litre turbodiesel already present within the range and boasts a 1.5 tonne towing capacity and the option of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

SsangYong are also offering the Tivoli 4x4 with its five year limitless mileage warranty.

SsangYong’s Tivoli 4x4 will run in front wheel drive for much of the time, channelling power to the rear wheels when a loss of grip is detected.

Ground clearance of 167mm, an approach angle of 20.5 degrees, 28.0 degree departure angle and a ramp angle of 17 degrees, add to the Tivoli 4x4’s off road credentials.

The brand’s e-XDi160 Euro 6 diesel engine claims CO2 emissions of 123g/km and 60.1mpg fuel economy in the Tivoli 4x4 when fitted with a manual transmission or 47.9mpg and 156g/km in automatic guise.

Two specifications of Tivoli 4x4 – EX and ELX – are available, with cruise control, smart steering (normal, comfort and sport modes), Bluetooth, seven airbags, leather upholstery, 18 inch alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, a seven inch touch screen smart audio system with rear view camera, heated front seats, front fog lights and a luggage load cover all among the standard features.

The Tivoli ELX 4x4 (from £18,500) adds a choice of manual and automatic transmission, diamond cut alloy wheels, a smart instrument cluster, keyless starting, front and rear parking sensors, privacy glass, rear spoiler, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers and TomTom sat nav.

There is a choice of six colours and customers have the option of personalising their vehicle with a styling pack which gives a choice of five two-tone colour roof combinations, the red leather pack, further colour metallic Jazz brown, and the option of the EX 4x4 automatic.
