Lloyd launches BYD dealership in Blackpool

AM100 car dealer Lloyd Motor Group is opening a BYD dealership in Blackpool, continuing its investment in the region.

Added to the existing Lloyd Select used car site within Whitehills Business Park, the BYD franchise will expand Lloyd Motor Group’s presence in Blackpool, where it already has its Lloyd BMW and Mini dealership and bodyshop.

The expansion creates three new jobs.

Lloyd Motor Group has expanded steadily in recent years, with acquisitions of BMW and Mini, Kia, Volkswagen and Volvo dealerships.

Lloyd BYD Blackpool is expected to open its doors to customers in early May.

Since it was founded by Bryan Lloyd, who sadly died in January 2025, Lloyd Motor Group has climbed the AM100 and in last year's listing became the 21st largest franchised dealer group in the UK.
