JT Hughes Group has added Mazda to its portfolio of brands after opening a new showroom in Telford.

It’s the first time Mazda has been represented in the Shropshire town.

The new opening takes the Japanese brand’s representation to 117 dealerships across the UK.

Mazda joins JT Hughes' portfolio that also includes KGM, which joined the group in 2023, as well as Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Isuzu and Ineos Grenadier.

John Hughes, JT Hughes Group managing director, said: “This partnership underscores our commitment to bringing world-class automotive brands to Shropshire, and we can’t wait to welcome our customers to our new showroom.

“We believe this collaboration with Mazda will bring an exciting new dimension to our offerings.

“Our customers will benefit from a broad selection of Mazda vehicles, outstanding pricing, and the premium service that has defined JT Hughes for over 50 years.”

Jeremy Thomson, Mazda UK managing director, said one of the reasons for partnering with the dealer group was JT Hughes’ reputation for “delivering first-class customer service for over 50 years”.

The new showroom opens in time for the arrival of the new CX-80 flagship SUV, which will be available as a plug-in hybrid or mild-hybrid.
