Wakefield-based Harratts has announced a new sponsorship for rugby league team Wakefield Trinity.

The Calder Park-based dealership supplied a brand new Honda Civic to the head coach Chris Chester and will sponsor the man of the match award at every home game.

Harratts Honda’s managing director Shaun Harratt (pictured) said: “Wakefield Trinity is a massive part of our local community and it is with great pride that we are providing support to such a high-profile sporting name. The all-new Honda Civic is exciting, powerful and highly engineered, much like the players out on the pitch. We couldn’t think of a better mode of transport for Chris.”

Wakefield Trinity’s head coach Chris Chester said: “It’s great to receive this support from a local business and it helps give the team a boost in knowing that they have the backing of the Wakefield community. We hope we can use this support to have a strong finish to the season.”
