Snows Motor Group is looking to expand its operations in Exeter with a prestige brand after a land purchase.

Rapleys completed the sale of a site on Sigford Road, in Marsh Barton.

The site is located fronting Bad Homburg Way - the main route through the area which has become a prime car showroom location in Exeter.

The plot of land is located between Volvo and Jaguar dealerships.

Snows’ chairman Stephen Snow said: “This prime retail site allows the group to continue expanding in Exeter. We are actively seeking a low volume prestige manufacturer with a view to building a purpose built dealership facility in the near future.”

Mark Frostick, of Rapleys, said: “We had a lot of interest in the land for a variety of uses but given the significant investment in the area from Snows and other motor groups, it is little surprise to see it remain in the motor trade.”

Snows has Lexus and Toyota centres in Exeter.
