A Jeep dealership has been recognised with the brand’s New Dealer Outstanding Contribution award, despite operating in ‘less than ideal premises’ ahead of the opening of a new facility.
Swansway Jeep, of Chester, scooped the national accolade from Jeep just over a year after taking on the 4x4 brand alongside its existing offering from FIAT and Citroën.
The award was a boost to the business which has been operating in make-shift surroundings ahead of the completion of a new-build Swansway Chester dealership in March.
Swansway Chester operations director, Andrew Wakelin, said: “Whilst we’ve been waiting for our new centre on Bumpers Lane to be built, we’ve been operating our Jeep dealership in less than ideal premises and so, I want to say a huge thank you to all the Swansway Chester team for working so hard and achieving this award.
“It’s a testament to the fact that, first and foremost, people are what make your business successful, they should all be very proud of this achievement.”
March 2016 will see the Swansway Chester FIAT brands, including Jeep, along with Citroën and DS move to a purpose-built centre opposite Chester FC stadium.
