TMS Motor Group managing director Len Hallows has appointed his four sons as directors of the dealer group.
Ben, Dom, Tom and Oliver Hallows hold sales or aftersales managerial positions at their respective dealerships.
Having all joined the family run business when they each left school at 16, the four brothers have worked their way up the ranks in various departments of the dealership and after receiving management training, now run the business with their father.
As the Volvo business continues to grow, and following a recent acquisition of the first Kia dealership in Hinckley, each of the Hallows brothers invested their money into the business, to claim shares within the group. For Len, this made it the right time to appoint all four to director level.
Ben, sales manager and Dom, parts manager, work at the Hinckley dealership while Tom, sales manager and Oliver, aftersales manager are based in Coventry.
“Ben, Dom, Tom and Oliver have nearly 20 years’ motor trade experience under their belts each, and all at such a young age”, said Len.
“I remember taking the boys in to work with me on a Saturday and they all loved the experience, so much so that when they all finished school at 16, they started their careers at TMS as apprentices.
“It gives me a great sense of pride to be able to appoint all four of my sons to director level, not only to support TMS’ future expansion plans, but also to show my appreciation for all of their hard work and dedication to the business.”
With Volvo dealerships in Hinckley and Coventry, Len has been managing director for family owned, TMS Motor Group since 1985.
