John Veichmanis, chief executive of Carwow Group, has become a Gold Patron for the Automotive 30% Club.

Commenting on the news, Viechmanis said: “Becoming a Gold Patron of the Automotive 30% Club represents our commitment to achieving gender balance across our organisation. Whilst we have made progress already, we recognise that we can still make further improvements. I am determined to drive this commitment as we embark on the next chapter of growth at Carwow Group.

“We have several initiatives planned in 2025 as part of a robust DE&I strategy that will enable us to reach a broader population of people and achieve true gender balance across Carwow Group.

“We have also invested and created the tools necessary to help attract diverse groups of talented people into our organisation, established a number of internal employee resource groups such as WOW women, PrideWOW, CareWOW and appointed global D&I champions to drive our philosophy and cultivate inclusivity at all levels.”

Julia Muir, founder of the Automotive 30% Club, added: “Within the Club, Carwow is sharing their new and innovative approaches to specific people policies, to help to diversify the automotive talent pool. I look forward to collaborating further with John and his team to ensure automotive is a place where women can thrive and progress.”
