Bristol-based car dealer group Wessex Garages has confirmed that Motors.co.uk generated 19% of its used car sales and 8% of its new car retail sales in the plate-change month of March.
Keith Brock, managing director at Wessex Garages, said March was a huge success for the group, which has Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Fiat, Abarth and Hyundai franchises.
"Our new and used car sales as a group were up 24%, which is ahead of the market," he added.
Brock (pictured) said Wessex Garages' strategic partnership with Motors.co.uk fits with its ambition to better connect with local buyers digitally.
Motors.co.uk uses a search logic which returns suitable cars by distance to the searcher's postcode.
