Three new appointments have been made in Scotland in support of the RAC BuySure used car initiative.

Murray Brash has been appointed as regional sales manager across the whole of Scotland.

Having worked for companies such as Mapfre Abraxas, Car Care Plan and First National Bank, he has a developed approach to dealer finance and insurance.

Working with Murray will be David Niven as area manager covering Eastern and Southern Scotland.

And Susan Beattie has been named as area manager across the West and East coast of Scotland.

Ian Simpson, sales and marketing director at RAC Warranty, said: “Interest in RAC BuySure among dealers in Scotland is very high and we are pleased to name these new appointments in order to help to capitalise on that momentum.

“Our objective is to build a network for RAC BuySure that provides genuine national coverage across the whole of the UK, so having a strong presence in Scotland is very important.”

RAC BuySure has been created to provide used car customers with an approved used car scheme across the whole of the UK that sets very high standards and is open to all kinds of dealers including independents, car supermarkets and franchises.
