The first Maserati dealership in Lancashire has been opened by the Bowker Motor Group.

Bowker Maserati held an opening celebration at its newly-refurbished showroom on the A59 in Osbaldeston on Thursday.

The new dealership will showcase the full Maserati model range and provide aftersales services.

Paul Bowker, Bowker Motor Group chief executive, said: “We have invested significantly in staff and the refurbishment to establish a retail experience that will be worthy of the Bowker and Maserati names.

“We feel the North West motoring community has been denied a Maserati dealership for too long. It was an obvious gap.  And we are delighted to bring such a famous motoring brand, synonymous with glamour and excitement, to the region.”

The dealership is the sole distributor of the Italian brand in the North West and Cumbria. The Osbaldeston dealership, which is already home to Bowker Ribble Valley, has generated an additional three jobs.

Bowker Maserati is headed up by managing director Chris Eccles, supported by sales manager Jim Gregory. Bowker Maserati is the 10th member of the Bowker Motor Group, which includes prestige car and motorcycle dealerships in Blackburn and Preston.
