Nine years after its establishment at Cranleigh, Surrey, Skoda dealer Station Garage is moving nine miles to a new-build site in Horsham.

Forty-years after the business began as a village garage in Rudgwick, the business will be holding an opening day at the dealership (design drawing below) in West Sussex on October 5.

At the open day will be the oversized ice cream van from the current Octavia vRS tv ad, a 20ft Skoda Scalextric track and all visitors will be offered a mini-valet.

The move meant a recruitment drive.

Positions advertised included retailer sales development manager, business manager, sales and fleet sales executives, and apprentice technician.
