A memorial service is due to be held to honour the lifelong work and dedication to the motor industry of Sue Brownson OBE.

The managing director of Blue Bell Group, died on May 3 of cancer.

There will be a private funeral and a service in Great Budworth tomorrow for Blue Bell employees and family friends.

Donations in lieu of flowers are welcome to Macmillan Nurses and made by cheque payable to Trafford Macmillan Nurses, Moorside Road, Manchester M41 5SN.

Alternatively, a site for donations has been set up at http://www.justgiving.com/suebrownson.

Later in the year there will be a memorial service in London when it is hoped the wider automotive community will be able to pay their respects.
