Trusted Dealers, the dealer owned and managed used car portal, is giving away 10 tickets to the AM Hit for Six Conference on November 19.

The tickets, valued at £150 each, are available to franchised dealer group managers.

The AM conference is being held at Cedar Court, Wakefield, WF4 3QZ.

A key point in the speaker line-up is a presentation by David Gagie, senior adviser at the Financial Conduct Authority.

He will guide dealers through the impact and consequences of the proposed guidelines to new laws on the sale of finance products.

"Our aim is to create a regime that protects consumers and allows businesses to operate. There is a balance to be struck here, and to make sure we get it right we want to hear what dealers think of our proposals," he said.

One dealer AM spoke to said of the importance he is placing on the proposed changes to the sale of GAP products: "It's a ticking timebomb, with an potential impact on business greater than the payment protection insurance issue."
