Saab Parts UK has appointed two new authorised repairers to its network which remains in place to service remaining customers of the Swedish brand.

The new appointments take the Saab authorised repair network to 88 sites across the UK.

Saabtech Welwyn, situated in Welwyn Garden City opens for business this weekend.

Saabtech is no stranger to Saab owners in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire as it was previously an independent Saab specialist located in Stevenage.

Saabtech Welwyn takes over the former retail site of Squire Furneaux. Saabtech Welwyn directors, Ian Ward and Jenny Eldred, both previously worked in Saab dealerships and set up Saabtech UK as an independent specialist in Stevenage in January 2007.The second new authorised repairer is West Motor Company in Barnes, south west London.

Andrew Joaman, formerly dealer principal at Saab Fulham, is now heading up West Motor Company with aftersales manager Rav Siayn.

Joaman said: “We have a large Swedish community in Barnes and look forward to welcoming them and all Saab owners to our new showroom.

“We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in everything we do and key to that is the service we offer our customers.”
