Midland Autocar, a car dealership in Leamington Spa, is closing two years after its Daihatsu franchise was terminated.
The business had continued as an independent used car and service specialist after Daihatsu withdrew from the UK, however the economic conditions have now led its family owners to close the dealership.
All nine employees face redundancy, reports the Leamington Courier.

This is very sad, as an ex-Daihasu dealer from 1978 until 1999 whan I sold the business to retire due to ill health I wish to say this was a wonderful franchise which like all had its ups and downs but always had hugely reliable cars and great staff.
