Close Motor Finance has recruited Chris Pepper from Lex Autolease to be its key accounts director.

His predecessor in the role, Chris Reid, has moved into the new role of manufacturer development director.

Pepper is responsible for driving forward business development, customer account management and car dealer operational support functions.

CMF sales director Harvey Stead said: "Chris’s vast experience in the motor sector will ensure he is able to continue to build on the rapid growth and success we have seen with these larger customer relationships over the last two years."

This new appointment will enable the key accounts division to continue expansion into the franchised market arena, and follows the appointment of two national development managers to secure and develop relationships with the industry’s major players in the franchised and independent group markets.
