Mini will reveal another possible expansion to its range when it shows its new Coupe concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15.
Strictly a two-seater, the new model features 18-inch triple-tone finish light alloy wheels, sports seats and a three-spoke leather sports steering wheel.
The Mini Coupe concept features a 211bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, the same found in current John Cooper Works model. Brake energy regeneration, shift point display and auto start/stop technology will also be included.
This coupe will add to Mini’s expanding model range, which will also feature a crossover SUV model soon.
According to CAR magazine dealers can expect to see the Mini Coupe in showrooms by 2011.
