Seat’s new Ibiza 5dr will cost from just £8,995, £300 less than the outgoing range's entry-level 1.2 Ibiza Reference Sport five-door.

On sale today, Seat has introduced a new set of model names – S, SE and Sport replace Reference, Reference Sport and Stylance.

Entry-level S 1.2 includes a height and reach adjustable steering wheel, speed-sensitive electrohydraulic power steering, steering column-mounted remote audio controls and AUX input.

The top model, Sport 1.6, is priced at £11,295.
