Gary Frigo has left as managing director for Nissan Motor GB in order to return to Nissan North America at the end of March.

Frigo, who took up the MD role at Nissan in April 2006, will be replaced by Paul Willcox, currently vice president of marketing for Nissan Europe.

In his last role Willcox was responsible for Nissan’s marketing and advertising activities in over 30 countries across Europe.

Frigo said: “My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our time in the UK. I’ll feel good leaving at the end of the fiscal year with the dealer franchise’s sales and profit on the upswing. I wish the dealer body and the NMGB employees nothing but continued future success.”

Frigo returns to Nissan North America as regional vice president for the North East Region.
