The 1.3 acre site was completed after a £2.5 million investment and was officially opened by Hans-Heiner Tueting, head of worldwide sales for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
The new facility features a large workshop with eight service bays equipped with the diagnostic and servicing systems, plus a showroom displaying Volkswagen's CV range, including the Crafter, Transporter, Transporter Shuttle, Caddy and Caravelle MPV.
Other products and services available include fleet sales, parts and accessories, class four and seven MoT, van rental, specialist conversions and courtesy vehicles. The site also provides assured used vans and finance options specifically designed for business users from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance.
The new site currently employs 25 staff including qualified technicians, finance advisors and sales personnel. It is located on Ennerdale Road, Harlescott, Sheffield.

VW also opened a new van centre in Shrewsbury this week too.
The Shrewsbury centre has created 10 jobs for the area and will be run by Brian Bachelor, managing director of Hartshorne Van Services.
