GE Money Motor Finance is tackling the slump in point-of-sale lending by offering dealers free advice and support. GE Money Consulting aims to explain how F&I sales can be increased.
Brendan Devine, GE Money Motor Finance managing director, says: “The reaction to new competition has been to take cost out but we want to add value by assisting with training and in other areas.”
Alex Merricks, dealer principal of Harwoods of Chichester, West Sussex, says: “The GE Money team has demonstrated an understanding of our business and motor trade issues, and been instrumental in remodelling the integration of F&I into our sales process. This has resulted in a discernible turnaround.”
