Vauxhall’s Astra Sport Hatch is now available with Panoramic windscreen.

The first 500 customers will receive the Astra Panoramic as a special edition GTC, costing £15,995.

As well as the Panoramic windscreen, the special model features 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels and GTC badges, air conditioning, sports seats, ESP Plus, a trip computer and front fog lights.

The Panoramic windscreen features heat absorbing glass which cuts back across the roof of the car, leaving an uninterrupted view outside. An electric blind can be slid forward for shade. GTC launch models will be available in three colours: flame red, black sapphire and star silver.

All GTCs will be powered by the Astra Sport Hatch’s 1.8-litre 123bhp engine, giving a 0-60mph time of 10.0 seconds and a top speed of 124mph, along with a combined fuel economy figure of 35.8mpg.

After the initial run of GTC models, the Panoramic roof will be available as an £850 option across the Astra Sport Hatch range.
