Citroen will unveil its C-Buggy concept at this year’s Madrid International Motor Show, which runs from May 26-28.

The new concept features a 173bhp HDi diesel engine destined for the C5 and a six-speed electronic gearbox system for the C4.

Citroen says the C-Buggy’s lack of roof, windscreen and windows ‘adds to the C-Buggy’s carefree charm’. Thankfully at this stage it’s just a playful concept and not a model which will be facing Euro NCAP safety tests.
