European Motor Holdings is in discussions with interested parties over a possible sale of the business.

In an announcement to the London Stock Exchange, the EMH board stressed that talks were only at a preliminary stage and there was no certainty that they would lead to an offer for the company.

EMH said it would make a further announcement ‘when appropriate’.
