The company has been based at its current facility in Abergele, Wales, for 54 years, but is moving to a new warehouse in Bodelwyddan.
It will cover north and mid Wales, part of Cheshire, the Wirral and Liverpool and continue to act as a supply hub for Irish customers.
Paul Clayton, branch manager, says: “The new purpose-built premises will be able to manage the branches more effectively, ensuring an enhanced service.”
Manbat operates 10 branches in the UK. The business was founded in Abergele by Harry Pamberton, who manufactured batteries on the site for 20 years. Manbat established the Glassklad and Snowdon battery brands.
The company recently launched a new single battery solution, the PC1500DT, for owners of off-road vehicles that currently require two batteries.
