JCB has ended talks with Jaguar regarding a possible acqusition from parent company Ford.
Sir Anthony Bamford, chairman of JCB, said he was pulling out as any sale would also include the Land Rover brand. Bamford said he had no interest in buying the two together and was therefore "not getting involved".
Ford is currently reviewing its Premier Automotive Group. Ford has been looking for buyers for its Aston Martin brand, as well as its PAG siblings, Jaguar and Land Rover.
