Audi has announced details for the successor to its A6 allroad Quattro, which will make its way into showrooms by mid-2006.

The second generation model will feature much of what was already displayed on the allroad quattro concept presented at the start of the year at the Detroit Auto Show.

The model will again feature quattro permanent four-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension with variable ground clearance.
