Prestige accident management firm, Accident Exchange, has further strengthened its association with the Mercedes-Benz network with the addition of two key volume territories.

Speaking at its annual meeting this week, chief executive of the replacement vehicle specialist, Steve Evans, confirmed an exclusive deal with Drayton Group, the largest independent Mercedes-Benz franchise in the UK, to provide full accident management and business support services.

The seven strong network runs adjacent to DaimlerChrysler Retail’s wholly owned operations in Birmingham and Manchester. Accident Exchange has been servicing the manufacturer territories since July.

As part of its arrangement with Drayton, Accident Exchange has agreed to purchase a minimum of 100 vehicles from the group to assist in servicing the 75-100 non-fault accident claims it will handle every month on behalf of the company.

In addition, the firm has extended its relationship with Listers Group to provide full accident management and business support services to its 31-strong network. This will see the addition of the Mercedes-Benz territories in Lincolnshire and Hull.

Accident Exchange confirmed that it is in advanced negotiations with a number of large dealer groups for similar levels of agreement.
