Proton has launched its new GEN-2, heading up the first of the new look design and styling for the ‘next generation’ of Proton cars.

With a 1.6 litre CAMPRO engine, the double overhead-camshaft engine produces 110bhp. To further achieve its ‘business vision’, Proton will be launching two more models by mid 2005, and plans to branch out into other segments.
