Following on from the launch of the new Astra hatchback, Vauxhall has announced pricing details of the new Astra estate.

Prices start from £13,045 for the Life 1.4 16v and top out at £18,695 for either the 2.0-litre turbo or 1.9-litre CDTi (150 hp) in Design specification.

The choices of engine for the new estate include the 1.4 and 1.6 Twinport and 1.8 petrol engines, and the 1.7 CDTi diesel choice in both 80bhp and 100bhp forms. Plus, to support the introduction of the SXi and SRi models, Astra estate will be offered with the choice of Vauxhall’s new range-topping 2.0 Turbo and 1.9 (both 120bhp and 150bhp) CDTi engines.

The Astra estate will  be in showrooms for November 1.
