Seat's so-called multi sports vehicle (MSV), the Altea (pictured right), and a new Seat Ibiza Cupra make their UK debuts at The Sunday Times Motor Show Live in Birmingham on May 25. The five Altea models on show at the NEC are the entry level 1.6-litre 100bhp petrol engine; two Stylance models, one with a 1.9- litre TDi 103bhp engine and the other with the new 2.0 litre FSi engine and Tiptronic gearbox; and two top of the range Sport models, one with the 2.0-litre FSi engine and the other with the new 2.0 litre TDi 140 PS engine.
Ibiza Cupra and Cupra R models will also be on display both with 17inch alloys and low profile tyres. There will be a choice of engines including the 1.9-litre TDi engine tuned by Seat Sport to deliver 158bhp. Later in the year it will be produced with a 1.8-ltre 20V T 177bhp petrol engine.
The SEAT stand can be found in Hall 5 at the NEC and the Altea is on sale in the UK from 10 July 2004.
