Shock absorber and suspension components supplier Kayaba UK has appointed Richard Bennett as assistant general manager.

He joins Kayaba from Sovereign Rotating Electrics where he was UK business director, prior to which he was UK sales manager, car and CV product with Sachs Boge. Previous aftermarket experience includes Speedpart Group, where he was sales director, and various marketing positions with AP Lockheed.

“Richard joins us at an exciting time in the development of the KYB brand across Europe, “ says Kayaba Europe managing director Hajime Sato. “I'm confident he will help accelerate our growth in the UK.”

Bennett replaces Tony Parr who left to run a motor factor business.
